E46 330ci zhp

what does everyone think about an 04-05 330ci zhp performace package coupe. im thinking about buying one but their looking a bit pricy mid to upper 20's. im guessing the coupe with the rare zhp package hold their value pretty good.

The Performance Package was originally added to assuage the people upset that there wasn't an E46 M3 sedan. To me, it makes little sense to get a ZHP coupe with it, especially now that M3s are in the same price range.

I think their great cars... but because your getting the 05 model, I would just op up for a newer model 328 or 06 330 with M-tech body kit and you have a newer version of that car.

I currently have an 04 330ci ZHP and love it! I bought it in August because my previous car broke down before I could recieve an 08 328i coupe. I thought about getting an M3 but I didn't want to deal with the maintenance and poor gas mileage. So I decided to buy the 330ci ZHP drive it for a year or two without worrying about it depreciating much then sell it and get either a A5 or used 335i.

Around the same price, perhaps a couple thousand more...and the performance difference is worth it.

That said, put that money on a 335 :P.

I currently drive an 04 330i ZHP. The performance package makes a huge difference compared to the regular sport package. I love my car.

The gas milage I experience in this car is nothing short of amazing. I get around 24mpg combined city/highway. Around 370-400mi a tank! Plus the handling is very nice, and in my opinion still looks great.

This is my daily driver and probably will be even when I get a new car within a year or so. This car is awesome!

Same here. I traded in my beloved ZHP to get my coupe. In a couple years, I plan to pick up a ZHP as a DD. It was a great year-round car and most than held its own in the winter...including when we got around 16" dumped on us in the Chicago area Dec '06. ZHP styling is the best of the E46 non-M's. I miss mine.

As some people mentioned, a plus up above the sport package and pretty good gas mileage. I averaged 25-27 mpg on my daily commute (~ 47 miles round trip). Not, it's not the E46 M3 but still a blast to drive without, as someone mentioned, the maintenance and gas comsumption. The wheels are a PITA to clean though. Make sure you have the right wheel brushes if you pick one up.

I was saying that the 06 330 is not that much more... I would rather stick with the 06 newer body style and 255hp and 6spd tranny. Don't get me wrong, I love the ZHP my favorite E46 sedan but with the increase in performance of the E90... just gives another option.

I'd love to pick up an E46 330i ZHP sedan in Silver Gray with the alcantara interior. Throw an S/C on it and some BBS LM's and you've got one mean little sedan!

If you're going for the coupe the ZHP is a great car, but as said by many others, you may as well just go for a used M3!
