Don't let the haters kill the thread, tell us what you know. If we know what you do, maybe there will be more confidence in this solution. I want these brakes!

I agree, the brake balance will be all wrong and can potentially create a dangerous setup.

personally, i would only change to another BMW OE brake setup (maybe from E90 M3) or an aftermarket setup that is engineered specifically for the E90 (not retrofitted from another application)

i don't feel that a few hundred dollars in savings is worth the risk of having a potentially improperly biased brake system on my vehicle

brake biasing is not rocket science, its simple math.

calculations done with static weight are indeed 'simple math'. in the real world, with dynamic weight transfers it is more complex (or maybe it is still simple, because you are much much smarter than me)

math aside, i simply don't trust that this unknown/unnamed supplier has done adequate instrumented testing (in the real world, not in a math model) to ensure the 'upgraded' brake system is appropriately biased and actually reduces stopping distance compared to the OE system

for brakes i'd personally rather spend extra money to buy a turnkey kit from an establish manufacturer than take a chance on a supplier i don't know
