i think he meant "i rid bmw"....as in he is able to get rid of bmw's with his hi-fi driving skills. you should have been more careful around him....or he would have gotten rid of your bmw as well.

Maybe he does have a BMW Bike. Hey listen, do you know where I can get a wiring diagram for an 11 3 series for the rear view mirror? Cause I am about to hook up a valentine 1 radar detector to someones 2011 3 series and I have never wired anything to a rear view mirror before, I don't know if it is the auto dimming mirror or the back up camera mirror, and have no clue what wires to hook up to for the radar detector, do you know?

The wiring is going to be different depending on whether the mirror is auto-dim or not. There are diagrams out there though, this is a very common radar detector solution. Search for something like "Valentine 1 hardwire DIY"
