Talking E93 With Wind Deflector Looks better ?

I got this wind deflector from a fellow member over at the M3 forums for a great price!. I think it makes the vert look better when the top is down, not to mention it actually works. What do you guys think?

I have had a wind blocker in every BMW convertible I have owned and they all look good and function well but I am biased.
It also provides some level of privacy when driving top up with the blocker up and in place from car lights shining on you from the rear...

I have the wind deflector also. I like it because it works, especially when the windows are up. I don't like the way it looks though mainly because I think it looks awkward with the read headrests.

Mandatory equipment for a convertible bro!

Really? I always thought the wind deflector was a pain in the ass at night, and obscured my vision- besides I have auto dimming mirrors anyway

It also serves to batten things down that you may have in the back seat as well, that could potentially fly up and out of the car, although the cases of alcohol usually stay put without it

Thanks brother, much appreciated. I have to say you have me beat in the wheels department, those are gorgeous!

Yeah I think it's just a minor leak from a cooling hose or coupler.

I'm going to the dealer Thursday night, so we will see what happens.

Oh I do too brother- but it helps on the "in between" days when it's just a tad too chilly, and when the woman doesn't want her hair messed up LOL

I was going to get one for my e36 m3 vert but its just a pain. I take my nephew in it in the backseat and its just a whole process removing it and etc.

Sweet! Looks great. Next time, post your photo horizontally, and it'll look even better For me, I got the windblox windscreen, and the cool thing about it is, you can have rear-seat passengers with the windscreen still mounted. If you have a convertible, getting one of these windscreens is just about mandatory, well, at least if you have a wife.

Oh wow....how is the fitment? Is it tight, without any moving about or wind noise?

The only concern for me would be the look- it's like a taxi barrier...hmmm...but you retain your back seat. Decisions decisions. Would like to see it in person before pulling the trigger.

Any issues with the plastic (or whatever material it is) getting scratched up over time? Looks to be indestructible. At 129$, it's definitely cheaper. Wonder what the difference in driving experience is from regular to large.

Can you take some shots of it on your car?

I've thought about getting one only because my girl complains about her hair when top down lol. but really don't like the look. Where do you guys store it when not in use? Just have to take it off and leave at home?

Thinking long and hard about trading my E90 for the E93....The wind deflector looks good and I am sure it quiet things down quite a bit vs. going without one.

Fold it away, put it in the storage bag, and put it in the trunk. Better yet, just leave it on there.

Ok upon further inspection, the seatbelt like fastening to the headrests is ghetto, and would look horrid on my coral red.

I'll pass and keep my windscreen

HOLY MOLY!!!! $408 from Tischer? That seems a bit steep for what it is.

Yep, it's pricey- if you have a BMWCCA membership you can get 15-20% off at the dealer
