codes

Running the DP has anyone had a code thrown by them? I have heard that may happen? Just curious I wanted to know if anyone has had that problem. I have seen some products out there to trick the car so it doesnt throw the code.

Only feedback I can provide is that they rattle... no matter how much I try and put them apart... after a while, they will touch and rattle again

I bought heat wrap to make it go away :P

Also have a rattle similar to the wastegate noise. You can only really hear it decelerating or with very swift and shallow stabs of the throttle.

I have had no rattle and installed them myself. Just make sure they are not touching. The rattle you hear may be wastegate rattle.

I have driven approx 7,000 miles on them, no problems what so ever.

Heat wrap is a good idea.. that should eliminate the rattle and keep the noise down.

Anyone have any installed images from under the car?

Did you also check the heat shield covering the steering column? I have heard in the past that some have forgotten to retighten that down causing a rattle. It's a pain to get to and tighten. Just a thought. For them not touching I just attached the downpipes to the turbos first then rotated til there was space between then bolted them down.

I hope this helps.

True.. true.

I am going to take picture of the clearance if I can. Most people having said a word about fitment problems. I'm thinking it all comes down to adjusting the whole system back up properly. If the whole exhaust line isn't loosen and just pulls on the DP's its not surprising that the t clamps might loosen and occasionally rattle.
