I would not waste money on "high flow" catted DPs from any manufacturer. There is nothing high flow about them as they choke the exhaust just like OEM DPs. If you are gonna replace DPs go with uncatted -- they are "high flow".

I got catted downpipes, so no check engine lights errors, but in my humble experience you don't need better downpipes or intake, the main difference is in ECU (piggy back in my case). Even exhaust does't do crap, I just like the sound

Nope it does not.
We don't have those filters here in the first place, so that theory is out.

You don't have 560 HP car either
The Euro spec of M6 is 552 HP (560 ps or 412 KW ) while the US spec is 560 HP (568 ps or 417 KW)

http://www.automobile-catalog.com/ma...3_m6/2013.html

So for slightly tuned US version, removing the charcoal filter will increase the power a little bit. I believe removing the charcoal filter along with Catless DP guarantee even more than 575 HP (factory claim)

I'd question the interpretation of those power figures. It seems to be a very suspicious coincidence that the European S63T generates 552 hp (ECE) 560 PS, 412kW (which is exactly what BMW quote) and the USA S63T generates 560 hp (SAE net), 568 PS, 417.5kW, which I've never seen quoted by BMW.

As far as I can see BMW USA only quote 560 hp in US literature, with no qualification, and no kW equivalent, so it's ambiguous.

ALL US cars have LESS HP than europe full stop.
Their emissions alone kill BHP. Fact.

Nope!

Automobile Catalog:

http://www.automobile-catalog.com/ma...3_m6/2013.html

BMW UK: (hp here is metric hp ... you can go with KW to compare)

https://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/new-vehi...nicaldata.html

BMW USA:
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...fications.aspx

and for sure you know metric hp = 1.013869 * US hp

it's simple. European measurement is metric and there are two different metric units (Ps and KW) to measure engine power in System International (SI) plus they mention the SAE because of US marketing.
In US we just measure SAE.... there are hundred units for power measurement for different applications and there is no need to include all of them in spec

Well, given the information I've had out of BMW, that they have all but sworn is correct, I'd be willing to bet that the engines output is identical (to within measurable limits and manufacturing tolerance etc.). At some point the 560 PS value has been interpreted as 560 hp SAE.

That is correct 560PS NOT HP.

Richard, I think they tune the engine for different models. As an example look at the spec for X6M! it has the same S63TU engine with a little less HP (555 based on BMWUSA)

The X6M uses the S63B440O, the M5/M6 use the S63B44T0. There are quite a lot of differences, compression ratio is higher for the latter and the DME is different.

Interestingly the US supplied S63TU engine manual (http://f10.m5post.com/forums/attachm...8&d=1360771557, page 3, full load diagram) quotes the output of the S63TU as 560hp/412kW.

You are right and the big difference between them is VALVETRONIC
I know BMW did the same thing with 6 series (N63 and N63tu) to increase 45 HP and replaced the engine in 2013 models... I expected they do the same thing for 2015 model of X6M since the original S63 was modified for M5/M6 , but looks like they didn't
