'91 M42 E30 - a killer in corners

Took the E30 into work today as a lot of my morning had me out driving backroads. Decided on one of my stops that I'd take a couple pics before I got on my way again.

Nothing major, just a few random shots. Still have lots to do before she can be a garage queen, but she's getting there. Comments of all sorts welcome.

It's a '91 E30, last model year.

Mtech valence
Custom skirts
17" Alpina reps
M3 Control Arms
M3 Polyuerethane bushings
Koni adjustable shocks
Vogtland springs
Cross-drilled rotors
Performance pads
Performance sensors
Redline fluids
Euro grliles
Euro projectors
55w HID kit
Infiniti 5 1/4" speakers
1000w Kenwood monoblock
Dual 12" JVC 1000w subs

More mods, too, but those are basics.

Looks clean man. If I had an e30 though, the first thing I'd do is try to order factory parts for the boxed fenders. I think the car needs those.

What do you mean by that? Fenders are OEM. Are you talking about the "boxed"/widebody fenders the M3 has?

Yeah. I was saying I'd look for the part numbers for the e30 M3 boxed fenders.

Wouldn't work unfortunately. You'd only be able to replace the front which would be uneven. The rear fenders are a part of the body so are not replaceable. Nobody makes a kit for it either besides some cheap Ebay fiberglass crap which will never touch my car. I really wish I had an E30 M3 to be honest, but I can't justify dropping $18,000 to get one

Damn that's too bad. Whatever though, it looks great as it is.

/\ Thanks. The above pics were taken with my work camera which is on lowest image quality. I haven't had a true photoshoot yet because I keep thinking of what I WANT it to be as opposed to what it IS and feel it's not worthy.

I'll see if I can find the pic from my signature. I know I've got some more high-res ones at home too so I'll get that as well.

Here's a couple from that shoot, including a low-res one of what you wanted:

Couple of things:

1. I would love to restore an e30. Forget 60s era Camaros or Super Bees.
2. Don't lean on the freaking paint, man! You're gonna screw it up! /detailing freak
3. WTF is up with the VW? It's a frankenstein!

1) Me too. Hoping to have this thing mint by the end.

2) I know! I had to rebuild the front end and skirts and painted it all myself, so they're off a bit in hue, and I intend on completely respraying the car. I shouldn't touch it, i know, but for now its meh to me.

3) Haha! That was owned by this girl I hadn't met before. She could handle the corners well enough in it, though I think it must have been totalled once because the entire front end was rebuilt. Stock GTI engine, seemed a bit slow to me honestly.
