Full leather gets the contrast stitching on parts of the dash and the door panels. Only the black leather option get contrast stitching on the seats in both extended and full leather. The other colors do not get contrast stitching on the seats at all unless you go individual. So if you get extended in any color but black, there will be no contrast stitching. Hope that was clear. How the hell do I know this? |

Cheers, I'm still having hard time about the leather. There is just so damn many stitches to soak coffee in in these, I dunno. Manual, coffee, stitch, somethings gotta give.

Buahaha, I don't know, I'm not a big fan of borrowing those, and since @Sedan_Clan hasn't found this thread yet, there is no one to market me a pair of my own.
As far as I know, these too are wrapped in full leather, so technically this is not an OT!

Let me make it easy for you... You are getting executive pkg, you are getting black... By default, you are getting contrast stitching whether or not you get full leather. The contrast stitching will be in the seats even for extended black, so because we all like tits and nuts here, you are getting the full leather since the contrast stitching has no bearing on your decision. And again, we like tits and nuts. Now stop obsessing about this... you already did this two months ago!

At the risk of putting this discussion back on topic ...
I'm struggling with this too. Having seen extended leather in person, it REALLY improves the look of the dash significantly. I'm considering not getting the rear view camera and PDC and, instead, getting extended SO leather... I'm trying to keep the car under $90,000 and it's proving tough. It's a hard decision either way!!!! |

I changed my order to full leather. Made a real difference on my e92 M3 and this is more extensive. Thought I would regret it later if I didn't.

I do have a few pair of good ol' Rocky Mountain Oysters for sale. If you're having a hard time making a decision, my oysters will help you man the fuck up and make one.

LOL, yeah, and we can also talk about boobs, since time has a way to make that leather from extended to full too.
You are welcome for the image

A BMW M combines all of these qualities, and more. It is probably the most rounded car ever. Fine leather does not take away from M-ness, whatever that is. It's a matter of wanting it all. The fact that there is a choice is a good thing. Cheers.
