Anybody Order the M-Package in Canada?

Hi guys,

New member here. The looks of the 2011 X3 made me join this site.

Anyone out there in Canada, especially in Vancouver, order an M-Package X3 yet? If so, what were your options/packages and costs? Much room for negotiations? Are all season tires available instead of summer tires for the M-Package?

I want to place an order soon. BMW in Vancouver is expecting June/July delivery dates for the M-package.

Every country has different options and packages so I would like to relate with someone in Canada.

Thanks!

I ordered mine a few weeks ago.

wont be here for a bit;

I ordered pretty much everything except leather / HUD.. got a kid on the way so leatherette works just fine.

it comes with all seasons, at least in the sales brochure it claims it does, I actually asked them to put summers on it.. I am a true believer in summer / winter tires.

i negotiated price with them, but when it started they looked at me like I was smoking crack; their line was these things are flying off the shelf, we don't need to discount. I talked them down a few grand, but nothing super fantastic.

I was told I could have it by end of april / mid may at the latest; I guess it depends on if your dealership has allocation for production or not.

I'm east (toronto) not vancouver though.

I guess for the record:

35i
space grey metallic
premium
executive
dynamic handling
M- Sport pack
tech
storage pack

the options / prices etc are all msrp they didn't discount any specific line items.

Oh nice...congrats on your order!

If we had winters like the east coast I would definitely switch up summer/winter tires. I think all seasons are fine for Vancouver.

I can't decide on colour...space grey, titanium silver, saphire black or carbon black???

Thanks

For us colour choice was almost purely a practical decision

I wanted blue, wifey said too showy.

Didnt want black because its a pain to keep clean what with salt on the roads in winter etc and in the summer our current black car is roasting hot inside

So space grey seemed easy to keep clean and reasonably attractive albeit common

I do like the look of black cars but they sure are hard to live with imho

twistediron: You live in the East end of Toronto? I'm just off the Danforth. Alpine white 28i with the overly expensive chrome tips.

I think that the M-Sport pkg at $2900 Cdn will replace the current Sport Pkg at $1800, effective April 1/11 production. In other words, in Canada, no regular Sport Pkg available after April 1, just M-Sport. I think the MSport pkg is a good deal for the extra $1100.

It doesn't look like we will get the pearl point cloth/leather seats on the M Sport that the US does.

So the $1800 Sports Pkg will be discontinued in the US too?

dynamic pack
m-sport pack
tech pack
exec pack

It's true...when I spoke to the dealer he told me the sport package is no longer available and that you would have to order m package.

Does anyone have the "office" function for there x3? I heard it's not available yet but there will be a software upgrade in about a year that would give you this option. Any truth to this?
