MSport Dropped on H&R Springs

Just dropped my MSport 335i w/ Dynamic Handling on H&R Springs. Springs haven't completely settled in yet but I'm already loving the look. Ride comfort got a little more ruff but I don't do too much driving so it doesn't bother me much. Overall I'm happy so far, will give everyone an update after another 1k of driving to see how different the car feels.

Thanks

That looks very clean! I remember you saying you have spacers on the rear. What is the mm on the spacers?

Lexus usa
Thanks
We don't do mechanical work at our shop, strictly exterior modifications so I took my car to a local shop to get them installed, took them about 4 hours and they recommend an alignment afterwards, but I plan on waiting about 1 month for the springs to fully settle in before I get an alignment.

Shop owner told me he will normally be charging $400 for the install with an alignment.

It's a custom exhaust we did ourselves and modified the original rear diffuser to make the tips fit.

These are the Sport Springs for a 2012 335i.

Side markers don't match very well... lol I know. When I got them painted a few months ago the mixture code provided to my body shop was slightly off so it came out a little darker. Plan on getting them redone probably sometime this week.

I have 15mm in the rear and 10mm in the front. I would highly recommend putting the 15mm on the rears even if you have 19" or any other OEM wheels. We install 15mm spacers in the rear on all BMWs and it always looks perfect. You can purchase them HERE or send me a PM

They are Sports and I plan on putting 20" wheels on my car closer to spring. Want it to get a little warmer to avoid chances of snow.

I'm curious with your drop and spacers, how much room do you think there is before rubbing? Do you think there's an extra 2mm in the rear and 4mm in the front?

unless you plan on getting thinner tires and stretching them I don't think there is any more room with this drop.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to put 255 in the front and 285 in the rear and with my wheel specs, that would have me further out 2mm in the rear and 4mm in the front than your setup. May have to play it safe with 245 and 275.

Your car looks great! (Naturally...)

I have the same springs on a 328i and didn't notice any difference in ride quality.

I was actually a little disappointed that it didn't ride a little more firmly.

Do you feel that your car is now more "bouncy" with H&R Sport Spring installation? I'm thinking of going down this path too but worried if it will get "bouncy" by just changing spring.

To me this is perfect. The Super Sports drop the car a bit too much, that is why I was hoping these were Sports.

No. It's not "bouncy" at all. The ride (for me) is very much like original. The biggest difference is I have to be very careful over speed bumps, dips and coming in and out of driveways. It is very easy to scrape the bottom of the bumper. It may be worse on my car because it is an M Sport (just like the OP) and the front bumper is already low.
