3 Series changes for 2015

BMW.ca hasn't updated or provided any news on what we can expect for 3-series models for 2015 in Canada.

Does anyone know what the differences or additions will be in terms of features, packages and pricing?

I'm looking to get into a new 320i xi lease at the end of 2015 as my current lease expires. Any info would be great, I tried looking for Canadian specific info but there's nothing yet. thanks guys

Even though most of the links on the BMW.ca site refer to 2014 models, the configurator allows you to select either 2014 or 2015 models for the F30 range. Selecting 2015 models will give you all the options and pricing, and also the payment calculator seems to have the correct interest rates and residuals.

It is ridiculous that BMW.ca is still so far behind. I wonder if the delays on the site are deliberate so the dealers can more easily clear out 2014 inventory, or if it's just incompetence.

I would say it's the former vs the latter.

I went to a dealership yesterday and those guys aren't interested in doing anything but signing paper. I was making conversation and asking opinions abt models and options and he said "go to the website, you could see the whole car and customize it".

He had to run the numbers before I could even test drive. It's 2014; I know how much a frigging 428 costs.

So much for the art of selling. Just order takers at that dealership anyway.

Good thing it was just a pop in for me and I have a good dealer of my own.

your mistake was going in on Saturday, typically their busiest day and SA has no time to spare except for serious and ready to buy on the spot customers. I am not saying what you did was wrong, it was simply logically the SA will give the window shoppers no attention whatsoever because to them, time is $.

I agree, but it is a sad comment that the SA can't invest a bit more time. An automobile is no longer a simple purchase. The websites do not fully explain the options and packages and their merits (at least not BMW's).

Frankly for a $50k and up purchase, one expects more.

I have done it the other way. I showed up towards the end of the month to buy new cars for each of my sons. It was a Friday at 5 pm. I had done my research including APA. The dealer was closing at 6 and I used that leverage and the APA to my advantage. I got a great deal (cash). But I was also buying entry level cars.

To your point, I normally take a day off and go in on a weekday. I find that I do get good service.

I know that won't help much, since we don't even have the info correctly set up for MY2015, but since you're looking to purchase at end of 2015, the MY2016 should be out by then.

MY2016 should be an LCI year, with some modifications.

Which just reinforces how broken the dealership model is. The SAs can't make much money and are treated poorly by management, the customers generally hate the experience, the SAs often know less about the product than the potential customer. At their worst, dealers are just getting in the middle, confusing the transaction and tacking on bogus fees, adding absolutely no value to the process. Particularly when it comes to Parkview and BMW Toronto, BMW dealers often just damage the brand they're representing.

I had a good experience with my SA when I bought from Endras, because he was totally fine with just making the process as frictionless as possible and respecting the fact that I was informed about the product, dealer margin and incentives. Unfortunately that's the exception not the rule.

Same thing happened to me when I went to T+C. Only difference was that I told them I was interested in buying, but not likely that day. I would need a week/month to think about it and compare it to other vehicles.

They didn't let me test drive until we ran some numbers as well, so I just took those numbers to one of the first dealers I visited and bought there. The first dealer knew plain and clear that I wasn't ready to buy that day, but they still gave me excellent service and offered a test drive before even going over any options, features, or numbers.
