Anyone else noticed the falling price of used M6's?

A used M6 is a great performance bargain considering you can get a low mileage 06 for around 70K....wow

Sounds about right. 2 1/2 years of depreciation.

Even at that price I'd rather have an M3 coupe over it.

That isn't bad for 2.5 years. I bought my 911S for about $25K (about 25% depreciation) below sticker at 6 months old with 3K miles and in perfect condition.

Edit: And oh yeah - I would go for a new M3 too (in fact I just did).

I'd take the M3. It's really grown on me.

In the UK an M6 price hits the floor as soon as it leaves the showroom which is not the case with the M5. Don't actually know why this is but it's something you need to bare in mind if considering one new.

In the UK BMW do a nice purchase scheme that guarantee the price after 3 years, at least that way you know how much things will cost you up front.
