Retrofitted xenon headlights e90

I am looking to retrofit some xenon headlights to my e90 and have found these on a website.

http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/prod...ngel-eyes.html

They say they come with motors in so does that mean that they are self leveling? So legally i could fit a HID kit on these?

Cheers

Matt

I would say 'no'. All the motors will do is enable them to be adjusted with the adjuster in the car so not self leveling.

In addition to being self levelling Xenons should also have headlight wash to be properly legal.

These are not a Xenon conversion, just a way of getting 'angel eyes' with standard bulbs.

The law is about to become tighter on these mods so you may come unstuck - I would avoid unless you are happy to get the Xenon 'look' without the power.

A full xenon conversion needs the lamps, ballasts, levelling sensors on o/s/f and o/s/r suspension, headlamp washers and coding. Too expensive to do properly and MOTs are rightly getting stricter on bodged conversions.
