For Sale - 2x used 19" Bridgestone RE050A runflats 225/35/19 - 6mm left.

Hi all,

Event Tyres are coming to fit my new non-RFT's tomorrow.

I'm selling the fronts only. They are still in great condition with 6mm tread in the centre on one, and 5.7mm in the centre on the other with & plenty of life left in.

Pictures to follow with depth gauge readings (will be easier when they're off the car), but PM me if interested. Collection preferred - either Surrey KT8 (home) or Newbury, Berks RG14.

225 / 35 / R19 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's.

£120 for the pair.

Andy

Hi Davy,

Rather than give you a subjective description, I'll post up some pics tomorrow for you once they're off the car - I'll do some depth-gauge measurements towards the outsides too & post these up too for full transparency for the buyer.

Only reason for selling is that the back tyres are finished & had to make the choice between buying 2 more Bridgestone RFT's for the rears, or making the jump to 4 non-RFT's.

No puncture repairs since I've had the car (5 months) but I'll check for this once the tyres are off too & update if needed.

Hi,

if the edge is good on them I will take them off you, I don't live too far so could meet some place if that is ok with you?

Hi Czech,

Sounds good - I'll drop you a PM with contact details once pics are up.

No longer for sale

All,

Tyre fitter checked today and said the edges on the front didn't have much life left in them, so I've scrapped them - just wanted to let you know.

Cheers for the interest everyone.

Makes the ouch for the new tyres even louder...

Doesn't the Bridgestones come with a slightly rounded profile from new, so I would never expect them to have the same thread depth on the shoulders. I find it a bit odd that you can have 6mm in the middle and edges worn so much that they need to be scrapped? Did you take any pics of the thread?

I got a set of fronts that has >5mm left in the middle and the shoulders still have thread pattern left.
