Post The new one

Hi everyone

this is my late introduction

Recently up my beautiful gray 2007 335i 66k mileage coupe(e92). I always wanted the 3series and i just moved from Germany to america to go to college here. I had to leave my sweet little 2012 135i vert behind. I have been looking for a BMW 335i in Kentucky since February and finally got my hands on a clean one. Looking forward on getting the mods started. I already switched the grills into black matte, the window trim as well as the 335i emblem is in black matte now too. Red air scoops are on the way and im excited to do lots more to my 335i

Nothing wrong with plastidip on the basic things like you did. Off to a decent start. What are your plans for her? Welcome to the forum.

Pretty much nobody from the daily driven crowd hates on plastidip for grille, window trim and emblem.

Personally, I would get an Open Flash Tune for 400 dollars. Then you've saved enough to purchase your DCI intake and can maybe get down pipes or a FMIC. I don't think you'll get much out of an exhaust with just a tune and intake. That's an expensive mod for very little return.

Either way, your car looks awesome!

I am kinda new to this modding your car thing since it is very complicated in Germany where I have my other BMW.

Want a Remus quad mainly for cosmetics

I love the Remus exhaust. Personally the best sounding 1 I've ever heard for this platform.
I wouldn't recommend a BBK unless you plan on tracking your car or you REALLY like the looks of it. Drilled/Slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads will do just fine. That $4K would be much better spent on Coilovers, M3 Control Arms and other bits and finally a Limited Slip Differential. Once again, these are just my recommendations with the money you're considering investing.

I wasn't hating. I have matte blacks grills, but I'm considering using plasti-dip on my window trim and badges, not because it's inexpensive, but because it's easier to apply (IMO) than vinyl or shadow line trim. Plus its removable if you should mess it up or decide to go back to stock.
