I am going to say something that will probably piss off some of the current e90 ///M owners.........
sorry, but you will to realize it sooner or later... the e90 will get 2 facelifts (e90 LCI rear & e92 front with led turn signal) I really don't get what BMW is doing right now...giving 2 facelifts to the e90 ///M makes no sense, and the resale value is going to be a bitch! |

If anyone hasn't owned BMW's before, this is how they operate. They did the same updates to the E46 3-series and M3's. As they do to the other models. When should someone buy a new M3, when all the updates are finished. Then the car will look old in just over a year after that, because in March of 2012 the all-new 3-series will be released. And a brand new M3 shortly after that. Relax people, buy a M3 and enjoy driving it. |

has there always been leather on the transmission tunnel? I thought it was just the colored plastic material but the pics here show stiching? Is that specific to the european spec?
Thanks! |

This is why I hate BMW. They change these things so quickly year by year and kill the value of the previous models. Unreal!!

Do you realize that nearly every car on the market gets facelifted every 3 or 4 years? Do you realize that nearly every car on the market gets running changes year in and year out? |

May just be the transition of the sedan and the trickled to the M. Can't wait to see the coupes refinements.

I don't think very many will make their way onto the e92 M3. Just like the e90 facelift changes aren't making their way onto the M3 (with exception of the interior and the tails). I'd imagine that the e92 facelift situation next year will be similar. All M3s will receive new headlights with the led turn signals and that will be about it...its a long way off, but that is my guess. Maybe some updated taillights for the coupe too.
