Wish I could hear the sound of that exhaust system(Im at work ) I have a 335d with RENNtech flash that gives me over 425 lbs of torque on the wheels, but damn I live in another Island a world apart from you guys. C'est la vie

335d would sound much better than a 320d anyway

I got a custom 2.5" exhaust on my 320d. It's straight pipe from the DPF and only one muffler at the end. Sound wise there is a noticeable deeper note, especially after 3000rpm. Doesn't drone at all, power wise it does feel like the turbo spools up quicker due to less restriction, either way I'm sure it's better then having another muffler in the middle.

Paid $500 at a local exhaust shop.

If you want it louder next step would be to remove the DPF. I wouldn't waste money on those expensive exhausts, it's a diesel so it will sound pretty much the same. Spend a fraction of the price and get a custom one would be exactly the same.

The performance exhaust with the ///m engraving looks great though. But i think that's for the f30

Anyone did a BMW performance exhaust for the 320d? Any reviews? Anyone knows the cost of it?

Random dumb question does the tips affect performance? Like the inflow to the tips?

Yup my 320d is fitted with BMW Performance exhaust. I ordered it from o/seas, couldn't remember the cost. Somewhere around $600/700ish.
