Thumbs up BMWNA Announces Best Dealerships for 2010

BMW of North America, LLC Announces Best Dealerships for 2010

March 11, 2010 | Press Release

“2010 Center of Excellence” focuses on customer satisfaction, outstanding brand representation, and operational excellence.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – March 11, 2010… BMW of North America, LLC announced the names of its top performing dealerships in the U.S. This year, 24 out of 338 BMW dealers nationwide were awarded the “2010 Center of Excellence” (COE). The Centers were selected based on the criteria of customer satisfaction, outstanding brand representation, operational excellence and profitability.

While all of the award recipients did well in providing quality service, some 2010 winners continue to exceed the expectations of their customers winning the COE multiple times.

A few noteworthy dealer accomplishments include: Reeves Import Motorcars, Inc. in Tampa, FL for achieving COE nine years; East Bay BMW in Pleasanton, CA and Flow BMW in Winston Salem, NC for winning the award a total of eight times; and Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, IL for winning the award seven times. Additionally, Global Imports has won the COE award for seven consecutive years and Hendrick BMW has won for six consecutive years.

Despite the challenging economy, BMW’s dealer network continues to invest in their sales facilities and workshops spending $340 million in 2009 alone. Dealers recognize the benefits of refining their business processes and focusing on top-tier customer service making BMW one of the most successful franchises in the U.S.

“All BMW dealerships offer a premium experience to our customers, but the 24 Center of Excellence winners excelled in the way they take care of their customers and represent the BMW brand,” said Peter Miles, Executive Vice President of Operations, BMW of North America, LLC. “It’s a highly coveted award and our top dealers worked hard all year to achieve this high honor – we congratulate them.”

new century? oh please... those guys are the most rude people. they look at me like a lower class asian (most of them are ASIAN!!!) and never care to even help me out. i emailed the dude with a question and had to call him back days later asking why he didn't see my email. lol also, my friend and i went to the showroom with our normal jean and tshirt, they got a WHOLE TEAM in a room and no one bothers to ask if we need help. haha

even their accessories on their website cost about 2x from other bmw sites that i see.

unless you are some rich old dude willing to spend stupid money, you will get no love from them.

They might make more money for bmw, but as for the customer service part, i have to say it's one of the worst services in my life.

My dealer is on there (Isringhausen). Great dealership, especially the sales folks. Very friendly. I was at a Susan B. Koman test drive day a few years ago and they had a nice spread laid out for lunch. Lots of woman in dresses and guys in suits and so on. Then one of the poor souls from the group home for the mentally disabled that's nearby came wondering in. He looked like a hobo. He walked over and peered at the big map they had set up and made a few comments to no one in particular, then made his way to the buffet line. The owner of the place was there and one of his staff moved towards the guy to shuffle him out of there, but the owner quietly intervened with his staff and let the old guy stay and eat. I thought that showed a lot of class. That's the way they are at Isringhausen. My only beef with them is that they price their CPO cars quite a bit higher than other dealerships. When the day comes for me to move to a ZMR, I'll probably have to look elsewhere.

Have to agree on New Century- it's not known for its service. I'm surprised Crevier or Bob Smith didn't make the cut....

Question

Anyone have dealings with BMW of Arlington, VA? That's the closets dealership to me, and would like to avoid having to drive all the way to Sterling, VA for a great deal or to service my vehicle (that is when I acutally buy/lease a one lol, but these things are important to know).

If any part of that was based on online parts sales and customer service...we'd be number uno.
