Wish BMW would incorporate a flat steering wheel, I think it'd be a perfect fit for the 1M.

Hopefull only as an option. Flat steering wheels are a nightmare imho when driving curvy roads.

I'd rather see a nice analog instrument cluster with oil temp, oil pressure, and boost. Keep the fuel level where it is.

Really? I love the flat steering wheel, although I don't think it should be standard given how use to people are with a standard wheel, but an option would be nice. Getting an aftermarket wheel that matches OEM quality is crazy expensive.

Also.. would you happen to have high enough resolution to see the tire sizes? I'm guessing 245/35/19F and 275/30/19R fitment, from the looks of those Pilot Sport 2's...
Front tire pic shows 245/35/ZR19. So you are probably right.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Ejection Seat, Oil slick, or road spikes. Spy Hunter FTW!!!!

~~I just got wood. Hopefully they can clean up the two-tone gauges. Everything else looks good.

I agree with you, but possibly as an option. I would have to sit in the car to decide if this would be worth upgrading.

My guess is 46,500 starting. It has to be a bit below M3 invoice to be marketable, since M3s sell at invoice now, or close to it.

A bit disappointed at the cosmetic quad - it just killed the boot space. Hopefully they are still going to change that but I doubted.

19s looks better but it adds more weight without doing anymore... unless the brakes require the 19s to fit..

We'll have to wait and see.

It's going to be in the 45-46k range if we can extrapolate european pricing which is 20% premium above base. I might be using an old figure but 08 135i was 38k so that gives us 45-46k.

I don't think I will be buying this 1M coupe since no one has mentioned any progress on weight loss. I already have a commuter, in fact 2. Need a dedicated sports car.

No M car is lighter than its donor counterpart apart from the GTS.

If they chose to do a cosmetic quad, that'd be the most efficient way. Pretty sure that'd be the lightest option.
Well lets hope they didn't use the 50lbs E46 M3 boat anchor muffler.

Nice find!! Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks like a hidden M button on the steering wheel too. Upper right, covered by black tape.

This. I'm also curious which cars are these marked by arrow? Serious cars indeed. The 2nd picture has a car that looks like a r8 but isn't one. What is it?

You are completely right but usually it's more acceptable because there is a healthy hp bump and use of lighter components elsewhere. I based some of my conclusion base on C&D's comments, which may not pan out.

One in the first pic looks like an Opel Speedster.

Second: Far left is a RR Phatnom, middle looks like Noble, almost positive right is an early 60s Ferrari, but can't remember which one. 410?
