mfatuation - BMW M3 - paint correction - Auto Finesse Illusion @ DetailersDomain.com

We got a call from Matt Stellas (aka mfatuation) shortly after Bimmerfest requesting a paint correction for this very special Santorini Blue M3. Apparently during transport back home to NJ, the car wash wiped down incorrectly. Take a look at the exterior paint correction.

We also opted for Auto Finesse Illusion due to its show car status.

Enjoy!

got a real quick quesion, you guys foam the car and let the foam dwell for a couple minutes....

then do you rinse off completely and then re-foam and wash with the foam on?

or do you just let the initial foam dwell for a couple minutes and then just wash like normal with whatever carwash in the bucket using the initial foam as lubricity?

hopefully that makes some sense?

thanks for your time and help.

we do it both ways depending on how bad the car is, for example today I did a wash that required foam then rinse, then foam, rinse and traditional wash with mitts.

for this M3 we went from foam to rinse to regular wash.

Thank you again for everything Phil! I could not be happier with how the car turned out. I'll have to bring it by in the spring after the roads are clear again.

p.s. I'll be stealing some of those pics for my IG account!

It actually looked better when I picked it up at Detailers Domain, than when I picked it up originally in Munich!

I meant keeping them clean constantly. I have TE37's and its easy to clean weekly, those BBS wheels are beautiful but it seems hard to get to the caliper and wheel well on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

In the end is a sexy a$$ combo no matter what. Great stuff.

I came so close to getting TE-37s! Wish I had, since the e88s can be a pain to clean. I have a few brushes from Griots which help a lot...
