Clutch replacement costs/shop recommendations

Over the next year or so, I plan to buy the 335is clutch kit. Who have you used for clutch replacement on this car? And what kind of costs were involved, aside from the actual clutch kit itself.

I'm not too far outside of Philly, and would be willing to travel a little bit if needed. So let's hear who you've used, and what it cost (roughly).

Thanks in advance

My car is actually going in tomorrow to have the 335IS clutch installed, I was going to buy the clutch kit from Ecs-tuning for $405 with shipping but my mechanic is matching what I would pay for it from Ecs so total including install is $1000.

Just what I wanted to hear, I appreciate the response. Could you PM me the shops name? I'm trying to make a list, not to just get the cheapest shop, but so I know my options/locations.

Helix did my clutch. Are you familiar with them? They are in Manayunk. Great shop with a great owner:

Was there over the weekend, I am waiting to hear from them on their price. I asked the shop foreman while I was up there but never got a definitive price, so I shot Eric an EMail early this week. They did a great job on my walnut blast, and definitely know their stuff, so we will see when I hear back.

I looked around for your inquiry and can't find it, but I'll respond here: we charge $1000 for the labor, whichever clutch kit you want to use, and we will price match ECS on clutch parts we install. Be sure that you also get the pilot bearing with the kit.

Sorry Eric! I would've emailed you again but didn't want to be annoying since you guys seem pretty busy! Thank you for responding, I will get in touch with you in the not so distant future when I decide to pull the trigger on some more parts.

Thanks again
