z4 m coupe or new z4 3.0

Im in a dilemma i very nearly bouht a new z4 3.0 in white because i loved how it looks! But now ive figured out how much money id loose and just couldnt do it. So im now looking at the z4m coupe for about 25k, im new to BMW so just after opinions. What will a M coupe be worth in 3-4 years? Also what is it like compared to the new Z4????

Any opinions advice welcome

Cheers

$25K for a M Coupe sounds a little check for a maintained example. Higher mileage verts are in that range, but the coupes are generally a few grand more. ($30K+)

I recommend you test drive both, to see what you like. It's hard to predict what prices will be years down the road. But generally an M holds it's value better than the non-M version of a given model.

The new Z4 is much more of a touring roadster compared to the M Coupe which will be like a hotrod. The M will be much more taught and firm, like a sports car should be. The new Z4 will be much more supple and have a smoother ride. I imagine the two would be quite different in feel so I'd recommend test driving each.

I love the look of the new one and the fact that its a hard top convertible.

however I would take the M over it any day......now the n54 powered new Z would be a different choice

New Z4 3.0

Just because I prefer a fresh, new start in owning a vehicle.

I'd be afraid that a used M of any kind has probably been trashed. I want to break my car in, not buy a trashed one. Besides that, I'm convertible prone.

They are two completly different kind of cars. Just go and drive both of them.

I will reserve my other comments due to a violation i received from a previous post on this matter.

Good luck and enjoy your COUPE!
