iDrive and iPod tracks

Apologies if the answer to this is hidden in other threads, I've been searching...

I have a 59plate 525 with iDrive and the USB connector under the armrest. Whilst it plays some of my iPod tracks (connected with the Apple lead) it won't play others. Even if I loadeed them from the same album at the same time?!?

I have found threads referring to playlists but not individual tracks.

Anyone help?

Thanks
