My P.S. announcement for BMWCCA.

In case you are interested...
http://www.bmwcca.org/

The monthly Roundel magazine is worth it alone. (not to mention the cash rebate a member-in-good-standing gets for a new car purchase.) Even after 8 years of reading Roundel...i find at least 3 columns, various articles, the classifieds still worth it. And by far, the best part...is Mike Miller's Tech Talk. CCA & Roundel are a wonderful resources IMHO.- And there is a lot more to be had as a member.

Yeah, the mazagine you're talking about is published by BMW and is a thinly veiled marketing tool. Fun to read still, but not much more than a large ad. Roundel (the magazine of BMWCCA) is a great magazine, published monthly and as AcmeExplosives mentioned it is worth the membership just for the magazine.

https://www.bmwcca.org/members/AM/Te...oinsection.cfm

There used to be a way to put the referral information into the link, but their website technology is circa 1956 and I lose patience with it....

I went to the Roundel website and could not find the $ value of the allowance. Also, is the allowance available to Canadian subscribers? What if they are buying from a Canadian BMW dealer?

The rebate is a BMW program offered to CCA members. Details are on BMW's site.

Last I checked the rebates were $1K or $500 depending on model.
