Replacement LUX LED's Has anyone been able to get one?

I had a LUX drivers side die on me I was curious if anybody had this issue and or had it replaced and or if there was a way to purchase just a single side instead of having to pay the 200+ bucks they cost for a new set?

Its driving me insane my bulb out warning going off and knowing my car is like a damn pirate with 1 side on... :/

Tried contacting direct no response yet from LUX and there is no telephone to call either.

I have no experience with lux but everything i've read is negative.. i would just go another route and pickup some Cree LED's for 40-60$ they are the similar bulbs if not the same and i have never had an issue with them. For Lux to charge 200$+ is just ridiculous and can be beat by a variety of other options for way less then half..

Just curious, but where is all this negative stuff you have been reading as well? We have been a vendor here for over 2 year, and making Angel Eyes now for over 4 years, and i'd say the feedback is around 99% positive from everyone.

The reason the others are 1/2 the price is because their output is less then 1/2 as well. You can get something that dims to 1/3 total brightness or you can get the LUX H8 V4 which is 100% brightness all the time, and adjustable color to your choice.

I thought LEDs pretty much never should fail compared to a halogen bulb. What else could have caused this?

LUX fail all the time, it's the ballasts that go out.

Just wondering but where are you getting that information from. Sure we have had the electronics fail from time to time, but we always get them replaced . There are a large number of electronics components in the power supply as as with all electronics they can fail.

The LUX LEDs look awfully similar to the ones sold on eBay from China for a fraction of the cost. Based on the feedback we have seen for failure rates, I wouldn't be surprised if it is the exact same product. Buyer beware.

Adam135 - How the look and how they act are 100% different. Yes most all the Chinese companies have copied our design, but they are still no where close

Replaced? You mean repaired for 20% of the cost? They shouldn't fail with the quality of components you claim to have put in. Especially failing over a year with being ran about 1% of that time. (1% is equal to the average commuting time in a car a year/year)

Thanks for the info. If they are copying your design, can you provide any photos during your manufacturing process? Just looking to see how your product differs.

Why the LUX trolling here?

I've had mine for 2 years with not a single problem. My headlight even got water in it which damaged my xenon bulb, but the LUX were perfectly fine!

LUX was the first of it's kind, and is one of the most popular angel eyes on the market, so they definitely know what they are doing if you ask me..And are bound to give you better support than a random chinese seller off of eBay.

Sure there are cheaper options, but with LUX at least you know you get what you pay for. With the others it's a gamble, and if something goes wrong I highly doubt you will get any recourse from the seller.

Do you really know what you are paying for? Just because they are the most expensive doesn't mean it is superior quality.

No trolling here, just looking for facts to back up their claims.

Hi Adam, What i mean is they are using a very similar layout for the Metal heatsink, which we were the very first company to come up with this design for them. The biggest difference isn't necessarily the physical design and layout of the product, but the choice of LED's and the way the car's electronic system is handled to power the LED's. Out LUX H8 V4 use the brightest LED's available and as well stay at 100% brightness while the some of the competitions lights dim to about 33% brightness of even less.

We have been trying to provide all the facts but it appears you are not paying attention to them. We always try and provide customer service to make the experience positive, we 100% stand by our product, our product is by far the brightest on the market. Just curious but what other information are you looking for.

Replaced my bulbs instead of paying to get mine repaired from LUX.

Was going to be 40.00 a bulb to repair ended up spending 80.00ish total for a new set.

They were helpful in trying to get them repaired but for the cost I just bought a new set else where...

Before now I never had any issues with the bulbs from LUX but I just can't see spending another 200+ for LED bulbs after I already made that commitment once.

Sorry I took these photos on a whim really quick so they are not the greatest but u get the point.
