the Lakers played rusty last night but things should turn around tomorrow.

if not, i will be a little pissed off and worried.

otherwise, beating houston will not be a big problem.

it should come down to lakers vs. cavs in the finals.

I'm worried if Kobe's illness does not get any better, and the fact that they already lost game 1.

If Yao gets on fire on game2, then lakers will be in deep shit.

The Lakers played alright last night. No one was making their shots. They should win easily tomorrow.

No matter what, advancing to second round for Rockets is already the biggest payoff for Houston fans. Game 1 round 2 was the cherry on top. I don't care if they lose tomorrow's game. and I would seriously like to see the Cavs in the finals. It will be a great graduation gift being able to watch that right after my finals.

I don't know. Kobe is not Kobe with the sore throate. All of a sudden it looks like Houston has a shot at this if Brooks keeps playing the way hes playing. I am going to have to say the Cavs are looking good right now.

The Lakers was rusty after that 1 week break, not making any excuses however. The Rockets outplayed them last night. The Lakers weren't being aggressive, all I saw was jump shots after jump shots. They also let Brooks drive into the lane whenever he wants, Bynum or one of our bigs have to put Brooks on his ass the next time he comes inside.

Fvck T-Mac. I don't think I've seen him play more than 70 games a year.

Kobe still made 32 points.. It doesn't seem like it was Kobe's fault last night. The Houston just played better..

Kobe had to take 31 shots to get those 32 points. Not every efficient, terrible to be honest.

Houston does have one of the 2 best defender in the league.. Kobe was on fire in the 3rd quarter. He made shots after shots after shots consecutively.

It's sad how Kobe needs to be on fire...that means the rest of the team is not doing jack shit...

Maybe you should watch the game instead of just lookin at his stats

Exactly. He looked like the old Kobe jacking up wild ones and not trusting his teammates. Lamar was the only one who played decent in game 1.

uhh.. maybe i did watch the game..? Kobe just had a bad first half. He came out shooting better in the second half.. He had 14/31. I didn't know shooting 45% is considered horrible now..

None the less, Rockets came out and played better defense and offense. Without T-MAC, they cannot go very far. They just don't have enough offense..

Lakers bench is not stepping it up. Derek Fisher hasnt been playing well for awhile now.. Lakers defense is still missing.

This may be true, but in the 4th quarter kobe was taking some pretty terrible shots. Before Houston took over in the final minutes Kobe had multiple oppurtunities to tie or take the lead. Instead of driving to the basket and getting fouled, he took low percentage shots while being guarded very well. When he became agressive and drove to the basket it was too late. Trust me i'm probably the biggest kobe fan on bimmerpost and I have to admit he played that game horribly. Hopefully he'll do better in game 2. Lakers in 6.
