Looks fine to me. My 45 dollar matte ones got chipped. These things can take a beating so going cheap isn't a bad idea. Looks good with with gloss Jet Black IMO.

I think the matte is cheap in the sun however. Pros and cons to everything.

I plastidipped mine 3+ years ago no fading and or chipping did 4 coats and left in sun to bake, cheapest and easiest mod I've done

Went with the gloss black BMW performance grilles from the dealer with my CCA discount months ago- they still look like new and are so much better on my BSM vert than the matte ones. IMO matte only goes well with colors.
