Lowering Springs Suggestion

I have this wheel/tires set up

18x8.5" STR 601, Falken ZE612 225/40ZR18 square

Will it rub if I put lowering springs? What brand can you suggest?

Thank you.

offset 17, looking to drop 1.2" but not sure if that drop will rub. My wheels/tires are sticking out a little bit so I's afraid it will rub.

With H&R Sport Springs I achieved a drop of 1.3 in the rear and 1.4 up front and this is with stock shocks. Since you mention your wheels stick out a bit, it might pose a problem but not so sure, you'll have to try it. From what I see of the pic you provided, it looks borderline. A practice that some take up and you've likely seen it before is "stretching" your tires. Mine are slightly stretched on my rears, but not enough to look ridiculous. I'm not a fan of tires extending beyond the fender, but the stretch for me assures no rub at all, totally precautionary. I've got 19 x 8.5 35mm offset in front and 19 x 9.5R 30mm(35mm rim w/5mm spacer) in the rear.
