E90 2006 330i - Suspension kit upgrades options, Help Please!
Okay so I had planned on replacing my suspension as the mechanic told me my shocks were beginnning to sweat on my 2006 330i (w 120,000km). However, I was in montreal on the weekend and a pothole broke my rear shock and the mount.
As such, I've been looking at different suspension packages that are offered for the 330i. Which do you think is best and do you have any other suggestions or advice? It is all very much appreciated. So far I've looked at... http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...ach-Pro-System http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...oilover-Shocks http://www.dinancars.com/shop/D190-9...em.aspx#page=1 http://www.unitedbmwonline.com/bmw-p...8-330-335.html ALSO: I have the sports package with lower shocks, how big of an improvement am I looking at? And if I just got shocks from a 335i M-Sport suspension would they be a comparable upgrade or what? Thanks to all! |

Many options out there ... what do you want out of your car? What's your requirement for comfort, roll, damping etc? Similar to OEM sport or something else? Provide a description of your driving style/needs so we can narrow it down. Also provide specs for your wheels and tires. You may want to post in the Suspension section. |

Thanks for the prompt response.
In general I'm looking to improve the handling, roll and if possible an improved ride/comfort. However, I know I cant be to picky on comfort or ill lose performance. The roads around me (Ottawa, Canada) are generally curvy and not in the best of conditions. I drive my car pretty hard but not very often do I drive it like I stole it. However I do like to ride on the edge of my seat/pants when conditions are good. I am running the upgraded 18" 225/255 offset from the sports pack with good year tires that are going on a third summer. Thanks for your opinions and thoughts! |

HERE for pothole control new shocks only. Have fancy-kerscmantzy Ground Control Street/School + all the M parts + LSD. My pothole issues gone too. One far less expensive than the other. Beyond pale handling w/my setup. Much improved handling/ride with FSD's. |
