Was at the dealership for some service and snapped a pic of this guy (who just so happens to resemble Santa Claus) "zooming in" on his iPhone...

I bet it is more efficient to use a magnifying glass than to constantly scroll using zoom

While my mom doesn't do that, she does usually take out her reading glasses when she uses her iPhone because the font is small. I then showed her under the accessibility options how you can increase the font, and triple tap to zoom in. She no longer needs to take out her glasses every time she wants to use the phone!

Maybe you should have helped him out
