The base price of 328i is $34,900 so does that mean it's an increase of 3,600 will give you an xDrive? It's kind of very expensive if you think adding trims (Sport, Modern, Luxury) will be an extra $2,100 - $2,500. So nicely equipped 328i xDrive will be in $50K territory and 335i xDrive can ring up at about $60K.

Am I reading it right?

That's what I'm thinking too...plus my Canadian dealer hasn't received anything yet...so it must be even more expensive here in Canada...

Sigh, BMW screws xDrive owners yet again. For $3600 extra, that better include the entire cold package or else it's a ripoff........oh wait, it's still a ripoff

The price increase for xdrive on the 328 is laughable. 2011 it was what? $2k? No wonder this will be their most profitable 3 series ever.

In the past, the xDrive has come with more standard features than the RWD model. I'm hoping that's still the case to explain the price difference.

Keep in mind that the 2013 3 Series non AWD models will receive a price increase. This will most likely narrow the gap. On the E90 the AWD was $2,100 more.

So they are going to raise the price by $1k or so of a model they released just a few months ago? I just think this is nuts.

Oh goodness they just confused the heck out of me. I was preparing to go for an M5 in 6spd. and just give up on the idea of having a 335xi in MT. Now they release one! Good thing is I might still be able to keep a 911 if this is the case! I wonder if this is coming to Canada.

Same here.

What does 15k residual mean? Is it 15,000 miles or over how much time?

I would assume 15k miles/yr. for a lease term of 36 months or 45k miles total.

Interesting that the price increase for getting AWD on the 335 is only 2,400 compared to the 3,600 for the 328. The 335 xdrive price bump is in line with previous years (if you include a smaller price increase for the 2013's). The 328 xdrive must get an option thrown in.

Man - I'm bummed to hear that a manual transmission isn't available on the 2013 328i x-drive model! Glad I didn't hold out for the x-drive...I would've been VERY disappointed!

It's quite simple really, the extra $1,000 is compensation for putting the xdrive badge in a more prominent position (rear deck vs front qtr panel.)

With a more prominent position the average consumer will think it does more so BMW can get away with charging more!

Ouch! No manual transmission in the 328i xDrive? WTF. So that probably means no manual in the F31 with xDrive either. BMW is becoming Audi!
