Please don't tell me that you thought they actually had a chance?

What is it about you life experience as a Cleveland fan would give you any optimism to dray from?

Shall I create a short list (feel free to add)?

1995: Tribe...close
1997: Tribe...one strike away from World Series
2007: Tribe...win one of three games...to win ALDS...and easily win WS cause the Rockies sucked

The Browns... "the drive" and the "the fumble"

The Cavs...the Jordan and "No D" Craig Ehlo...gave us "the shot" and "the shot 2"

I knew the game would be close...but its ending was obvious...

you sound the same as the guys that talk shit about my giants when they entered the playoffs... never count a team out in the playoffs... Lebron played exceptionally well.. don't know why he drove to the basket in the last 40 seconds of the game.. but well can't take anything away from him.. Paul Pierce is an animal.. he was just automatic this afternoon

Cleveland blows anyway. I really hope Boston can go all the way (and beat LA).

+1...but the possession before with the missed three by Delonte West (to potentially tie with 1 min) sealed the deal...it was a perfectly designed play...

look, i'd rather boston go than Cavs, they had their chance last year and got swept. So what, they got Big Ben, that ain't shit, they don't have a player problem, they have a coaching problem. D'Antoni should be there , not in NY.

Ha right. The Celtics have been the definition of "blows" for nearly the last decade. The only reason Boston was any good this season is cuz they finally spent some coin. The sad thing is they spent that coin on guys that are about to leave their prime years behind them.

Sure you could go on about Cleveland not being able to get over the Championship hump but Boston as it's own issues.

1. SPYGATE! Everyone mentions asterisks for Barry Bonds and such but man are the Patriots a prime candidate. What a shame for what is supposedly a great team.

2. The Red Soxs are only winning due to no salary cap in the MLB and stealing other teams stars. Manny Ramirez, a product of Cleveland whom you Boston fans love so much.

3. The Celtics, finally a decent team that was bought and Boston talks shit? Take a hike bro. Try being good for a while. Besides they'll be eaten alive by Detroit.

4. The Bruins, who cares

And yes, Cleveland choked royally. They should have won either game 1, 5 or 7 and choked in those games as well. Cleveland lost the series, Boston didn't win it, PERIOD.

But as a Cleveland fan I'll admit that they would have had an equally tough time with Detroit and more then likely would have lost to whichever West team. Boston fans have proven over decades that their pompous no matter if their good or bad, and will never admit when they suck. I am a Cleveland fan and am willing to admit when a Cleveland team sucks, which at the time none of them suck. They may not be winning Championship but their solid and contending.

Lebron had a pulled up 3 but he instead drove in and airball the layup. He needs to become a smarter player

Cleveland has both a player and coaching problem, and that's what makes what Lebron has been able to accomplish even more amazing. He led his "team" (a.k.a Lebron and the 11 clowns) to the NBA Finals at the age of 22, MJ didn't make his first NBA Finals until he was 27 or 28 and it took having a future HOF'er/NBA Top 50 all-time player, a good supporting cast and probably the best NBA coach of all time partnered with him.

Lebron is stuck with a group of teammates who barely make the NBA's Top 5,000 all-time team and a coaching staffing which is on par with your average YMCA rec league coaching staff. With him, they make the Finals one year and the conference semis the next. Without him, they maybe win 10-15 games.
