It would be the same you tell them you have it. A intake manifold is a intake manifold, clearly thEy have experience both disa and non. It's not rocket science lol

It doesn't actually work that way. As seen with Desi4LIFE and Andry's dyno. On looks like timing adjustments, the other looks to modify the A/F and valve timing events. If it were that easy, Evolve would have an N51 tune already.

Is there any update on this? Not looking for anything specific. Just a ballpark figure like if it's something that could come out this summer or is this something that'll likely take till end of year.

I am interested in this. As long as it shows some improvement over the Active tune or does something with the DISA we have

harrytruman Any updates?
If I haven't purchased a 128i yet, am I better finding a N52 and getting the DISA and tune installed or get the N51 that has the DISA and get a tune? Looking for a new track toy and for now it's looking like a 128i. |

They're fairly equivalent but n51's are "easier' since they don't require an intake manifold swap. The compression difference is negligible on paper and some dyno's have showed that.

Sorry for the delays, everyone. The Evolve n51 tune isn't happening. Talks with them stretched on for long enough that I finally decided to throw in the towel after it became apparent that they didn't have the resources to spare for getting the tune fully functional. Sorry to get your hopes up.
