The Ace Cafe isnt exaclty a nice photo location.
If you want a pretty photo location try Newlands Corner, Surrey.
It's in the Surrey Hills so they're great roads around. It has a large car park and often has various car clubs meeting there. Also one of the best bacon rolls around.

Kent is a slight mission, and i used to have to make the Prept show in Brands hatch every wed... but it got tiring The drive through such congested roads killed me!!! But on a sunday, it shouldnt be too bad fingers crossed

SOOOO I HAVE BEEN RACKING MY BRAINS...

I think all input is needed.

Now, i have been looking at the best pics i post on my LiteAngels page... They are ALL backed by buildings and lights etc... Not some scenic stuff...

So i have been trying to take this into consideration...

Here is a quick shoot someone took from central London... I know it is a night shoot, but it is nice to have a building back drop... It is by far from a decent pic lol but you get the idea...



Here are some others... and if you know of locations that can offer the same kind of results... i think we are golden!!!

Parking area around buildings...



A really funky, brightly lit car park shoot... I think an awesome one would be Westfield Sheperds Bush as it is very well lit... and we can all go grab something to eat too.



A funky tunnel somewhere -
WE COULD DO A LONDON TUNNEL RUN!!! We used to do them annually... but DECENT pics arent easy to capture as you cannot strategically place the cars for gd shots... nor is the light great enough.

I'd be up for it depending on date and location.

I can also vouch for Newlands corner and have local knowledge which may help for develping a a hoon or organising a photo shoot.

One location that springs to mind is this one:




But... as its an untennated spec office development I can see security getting the arse if more than just a few cars turned up for a shoot.

Guildford has lots of multi storey car parks which also prove good for pictures if its a consideration...

Saturday evening rarely work for people.

Majority of shows are on Sunday... it is the norm and people are accustomed to it.

Unless we find a great lit car park, i do not mind doing an evening meet/shoot.

The top pic is Waterloo Bridge, I regularly use it and offers great views. Day time will be very busy traffic wise, all week. Nights are less busy.

Evenings just seem to work out better as the roads / car parks are quite and you can get some great pics at night with all the lighting in the city. Also the way the world is these days a lot of people now work weekends or have to look after their children because the other half have to work.

I honestly dont mind. But people will have to be notified first with as much notice as possible.

So i guess the time of the meeting and date all depends on the Location...

There are quite a lot of us now. I think a rolling meet will be unrealistic and a static meet would be ideal.

The QUESTION is WHERE...

WESTFIELD'S SHEPHERDS BUSH SHOPPING CENTRE CAR PARK

If people would like to, we could meet at Ace Cafe previously and convoy down to Westfield together.

I know the following is an indoor car park... BUT

-It is very well lit.. perfect for great shots...
-It is easy to get to!
-We could all get something to eat at Westfield's, have a chat around a dinner table before coming out to do the shoot and as a bonus... All in the warmth too!!!

if we decided to go on a sat evening, anytime after 8 will begin to get quiet... IT IS HUGE WITH MULTIPLE LEVELS so we are bound to find somewhere without any other cars and we can make full use of it for ourselves.

This photo gives some kind of idea to those who have never been, and reminder to those who have...

This was taken on a shitty galaxy s2... so bare that in mind
