F32 Exhaust Mod

Hey, I just got a muffler delete on my 428i and also got a 435 style setup. It sounds great when driving in manual mode or in sport mode, but when just driving around town or on the freeway on comfort or eco mode, it is way too loud and it drones a lot. My local exhaust shop recommended me to buy a Magnaflow muffler and then they would custom install it, claiming that it would make it significantly quieter. Is this a good solution? And will it change the actual sound of the exhaust? I want to get as close to stock sound as possible when cruising, but just have a little nicer (louder) sound when pushing it.

I was also wondering, what size are the stock 435 exhaust tips?
Thanks.

And this is the one they told me to buy:

It will definitely quiet it down but it probably will not sound like a stock system. The muffler design that Magnaflow uses will create a different tone.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anything that can make it sound like stock?

Why don't you just get a 335/435 muffler and do whatever tips you want?

X2 to this. The only muffler that will make your car sound stock is a stock muffler.
