Congratulations....I like the side vents on the 4 series and the blue brakes...The matte red interior is a lot nicer IMO than other red interiors...Enjoy it!

Congrats, it looks great in this color scheme...

...do the American cars with M sport package have the fog lights deleted for standard or as an option? The lights deleted gives a cleaner look, especially on the M sport models.

Fantastic car and nice configuration. Lucky you. I remember what it was like to be the first guy with an entirely new model when the E46 Cabrio came out. Enjoy it.

Thanks man. All 3 series and 4 series Msport cars get the fog light delete as standard and there is no option to put it back. I hear it's because we drive our cars in much more various conditions then in Europe. Deserts and the like. It's so the front end gets enough airflow.

M Sport brakes are blue...M Performance brakes come in red, orange, and gold and cost much more (and i believe they come with slotted and drilled rotors)...$650 vs $2k+
So basically its a standard brake system that the "lesser" cars have to buy. Nothing special. They do look sort of dinky and dont deserve the blue.

OP have you encountered an A5 yet? Want to know reaction

There is no option to get the 19s on the 428i. I like the 18s alot and here in the nyc area you can easily Bend anything over 18. Not need for that.

Also the navigation is the only way to get the way to play your music through bluetooth and it works quite well!
That sucks. I never got Navi so no Bluetooth for audio which really sucks. BMW's stupid Y cable so I can play from my iPhone. Opted out of Navi a I use Waze and it is pretty good on alerting where the Cops are hanging out.

BTW - mineral grey is the way to go; my 335 is that color and it looks great

Really?? Wow...even the lowest model Civics and Accords have bluetooth audio (and reverse cameras).

Oh well.

Ya it really sucks on BMWs part. They made it all part of the same system now... I also wanted to try out the bmw apps and wanted the bigger screen. I thought about axeing it at the last minute but said screw it. BTW the new idrive is pretty cool

I also wish I could have gotten the red brakes. Would have been great but the blue is really growing on me. I asked my CA about port install of the red m performance brakes. He said it would keep the car longer and it would not be residualized no thank you lol.

I have seen a couple of A5s...the old men driving them on did not seem to care lol.

The M-Sport brakes (2NH) are a $650 option and they are NOT the same as the standard brakes. Here are the details, based on your model:

Original Brakes on 335dx, 335i are:
Front rotor: 340x30mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons
Rear rotor: 330x20mm / Brake Caliper with 1 piston

Original Brakes on all other models are:
Front rotor: 330x24mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 1 piston
Rear rotor: 300x20mm / Brake Caliper with 1 piston

Pricelist Option (Factory upgrade) with 2NH M Sport Brakes (blue colored) will bring that to:
Front rotor: 370mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons (for 328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335dx)
Front rotor: 340mm / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons (models below 328i/325d)
Rear rotor: 345mm / Brake Caliper with 2 pistons (on all models)
(So the 2NH option one can order from the factory is different. It is not the same for a "high power" or "low power" model!
High power models (328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335dx) get 370mm diameter rotor in the front. Others get 340mm rotor in the front. But the brake caliper will always be blue color)

Congrats!

They drive very nice, we just sold one at the dealership I work at to a customer on Saturday. They actually came in earlier than expected.

Just came home. Set it to Sport+ and put it in manual mode. Took it on to a lonely highway close to me with some really nice on and off ramp turns. This thing is an animal in the twisties! Stays way flatter in the corners then any f30 i have driven. Not even a hint of tire squeal at 70-80 MPH in the turns. GREAT STUFF! I really think the F30 rolls so much to make you want to buy this lol
