1) What kind of transmission?
2) If the dealer offered you $21k and will sve you more than $1500 in taxes on the next car and absolutely no hassles -- why would you sell it (askking price) for $22k??? |

Its an automatic.
The dealership that offered the the trade in value has an M3, but it doesn't have the options I'm looking for. Figured it'd be easier to shop around if I had already sold my car, I'd also be able to look at private party M3s for sale potentially. The Lien is held by BMW, and I'm asking just under what I owe on it. - Additionally, this is my first time going through this process, if this is not the best way to handle it, let me know. I wasn't aware that the trade in would take me $1500 in taxes..... I have a photo of the pink slip with the trade offer if there's a need to post that here. However I wouldn't deduct that amount from the sale of the new car if the trade in was going to cover what I still owe on it.
So it would seem to be a wash. Hence why I'm looking to sell it private party for a little more. |
