2013 328i Sedan Help on Order

Hi All,

I am very new to this Forum and ready to buy my first BMW. I was looking for good deal on 2012 Models and came to know 2013 Models are on Production. It looks like Some of you ordered 2013 Models. I am interested in it. Can you help me on ordering one. Here are the questions.

1. Do i need to work with any dealer to order it?
2. Since I am ordering, do i need to pay MSRP?
3. I am in LA, Can you suggest good dealer to negotiate and order?
4. Or Do i need to wait for 2013 models to Hit US market and purchase? I am already renting a car for few months,Since i am waiting for this one.

Any Help is appreciated.

Thanks

1. Yep.
2. Nope. The best deal you can hope for is $500-1,000 over invoice. That's before any of the incentives that are out there (recent grad, Olympic drive, loyalty, USAA), and more aggressive dealers may expect you to pay more.
3. No, sorry, I am on the east coast.
4. Your options today are: buy a 2012 as is off a lot or custom order which will be a 2013.

This is good info.

For dealers in LA, check out South Bay BMW in Torrance and ask for Jamil Zaklit. They really hook it up over there.

Hi,

I'm also looking to order 2013 328i model. How can I know the invoice price other than MSRP. Do you have any idea about dealers who can offer good discount in Michigan? or Chicago. I live in Detroit, MI.

1. Use the internet CA so you don't waste your time at the dealership like 3 hours sitting their for nothing. Not worth it! Pretty much all the dealership in SolCal BMW has the chatting system.
2. Nope. I paid $350 under the invoice price($4500 off the MSRP). It depends on how you work with each dealership. And you can also use the graduation program, Olympic drive, USAA test drive, etc.
3. PM me and I'll give you some contacts. I know some people at Valencia, Shelly, and Mckenna BMW.
4. Just order the 2013 and you will have a better retail price.

I ordered mine Monday -- July 23rd.

328 M sport (RWD -- because if you order with xdrive, it does not include the lowered, beefed up M suspension or the top speed limiter increase)
Alpine white
Black Leather
Highlight trim with black gloss
Cold Weather Pkg
Premium Pkg
Lighting Pkg (sort of pissed I have to buy this)
Rear view camera
Park distance control
Enhanced Bluetooth
Rear power shade with side manual shades

MSRP 48,570
Negotiated price before various discounts: $46,689
USAA Discount $1,000
BMW Loyalty Discount $750
Drive for Team USA Discount $1,000

Final price before tax = $43,939
saved $4,631

Do you guys think this was a good price/deal?

I have not received my order number yet. The dealer said it would be a couple of days.

Also, any one looking for a E46 Convertible? Steel Blue with Dark Blue top, Sport Package, Grey Leather, 82K mi, all records. Bottom price $11K (Denver area)

If you're not going to dick around playing the $100 lower dealer match crap, use my guys. They're flat over invoice and very fair.

But if you're one of those that spends 10 days playing dealer vs dealer to save $200, don't even bother to contact them. I like them too much for that abuse.

I just placed an order in detroit area. I havent recieved my car yet. They seem to be firm on price at the beginning but if you do your homework they will easily come down on the price. Check bmwconfig.com. find the invoice price make your offer. Tell them you will buy today if they accept your offer. I can give the name of CA. I also got an e-mail offer fron bmw ann arbor invoice+ 1000. If you go there and negitiate they would go further down sure. I will pm you all the contacts and offers I got.

The team usa drive in Detroit is over. There is one on July 28 in Traverse city. If you can drive there do it. It will save you $1000 after the negotiated price. http://www.bmwusa.com/driveforteamusa

Hi. I'm new. I'm interested in purchasing (not leasing) a new 328i. I'm in the San Francisco bay area. I am not aware of any available incentives in my location. What kind of pricing can I expect? Would I get a better price settling on current inventory or special order. Please post whatever deal you were able to get. Thx.

Well... if you own a BMW currently, you get the discount (although some are saying you must have been a BMW Financial Services customer for this -- My CA tells me that I qualify even though I did not use BMW FS). If you don't you'll probably be eligible for a "Conquest discount" -- basically, they want you to "switch" to BMW. If you do, you get a discount. Check with your local dealer or the bmwusa site. Also, here is a thread on it. Good luck!
