Toray and BMW I would see as a no go- but think about BMW's current method for building CF cars (BMWi). There might be some room for efficiency improvement as there is already a back log for i3 production and the i8 is sold out as well. There have been some issues with mass ramp up and the fact only one site is weaving and/molding.... Planes/boats come in with engines from Germany and leave with CF components- just some well rounded speculation of course.

I doubt BMW want to manufacture the 3 or 5 in the US. It would cause problem on home turf where current jobs and expansion of existing lines is important for German jobs.

Maybe I'm just biased since I also want a German manufactured BMW and one that qualifies for European Delivery...

My guess is new models to be made in the USA.

BMW will begin manufacturing of the .5 series, 1.5 series, and 2.5 series, along with a new BMW pickup truck, the P series, a BMW go kart, the K series, and BMW tricycles, the T series. Each will feature no more than 3 cylinder engines (just a picture of one for the T series) and use front wheel drive. The M division will plaster no less than 25 M logos on each vehicle to add HP and value.
