Hey everyone,

I'm just offering to build these if there is enough interest.

I have a bit of machining / metal working skills and have a design idea to make one of these that will fit into the tow hook, very similar to what's already sold out there. However I'm willing to make these for $45 if enough interest.

I will make a "prototype" first and can also send a google sketchup file with the drawing if anyone uses that program.

It will be made of steel with stainless hardware to prevent from rust. Let me know if interested.

Also I make L brackets for any of the photographers out there...

Do you have pictures of the bracket mounted on the bumper?

I am interested in finding a way to mount my plate without holes in the bumper (like everyone else) .. but idk what you have in mind. pics? maybe get some basic jpegs of what your prototype looks like so us noobs can see them :P

Yep just a straight bolt on. No holes. I should have some pics up in a week for people to see.

Hey Guys,

Sorry to disappoint, but just found out that the threading for the tow hook hole is not a standard size. So I won't be able to do this it looks like. Was hoping to hook everyone up with a good deal. I guess that's why they're on the pricey side....I'll let you know if I come up with something else.
