New To The Boards If Not the Marque
Hello fellow Bimmerheads!
As you can tell from my signature below, this isn't my first Roundel Rodeo.... but I had strayed from the flock (at least from the four-wheel variety) with my last two cars being a highly tweaked 2004 GTO (modded back to true Holden Monaro form) and a chipped 2006 VW GTI. Six weeks ago I traded the GTI in for a sweet 2006 325i CPO sedan. It was a very nice car indeed - very comfortable and incredibly flickable. However, with that smooth I6 only putting out 215 HP SAE @ 6,250 rpm and 185 ft lb of torque @ 2,750 rpm, she needed to be always wound up as tight as a Honda in order to squeeze any real fun out of it.... and I hate Hondas. In short, it didn't speak to my inner hooligan. Sooooo... for the past week and a half, I've been negotiating my buddies at the local BMW House of Automotive Crack about the possibility of upgrading to a recent acquisition of theirs - a very sweet Space Grey Metallic 2007 335i 6-speed coupe with premium and sport packages and a sexy two-tone red / black leather front office. This morning, we came to an agreement. In comparison to the 325i, the twin-turbo I6 in 335i is a fecking beast - 300hp @ 5800 and- more importantly - 300 lb-ft of torque down low and accessible at only 1400 rpm. She's a real kick in the ass to drive, and that sweet exhaust note..... daaaaaaaaaaaamn. She drives like a small-block V8, only torquier... I also noticed immediately how sweet it shifted, but I've just confirmed that it has an undocumented plus in the package - a BMW Performance short-shift kit has already been installed. 8)

Welcome to the forum. That's a nice 335i you got there. Grey is not my cup of tea but I like a lot the red interior. Many happy miles/kilometers to you!.

I think you should CF wrap the wood trim. It looks out of place IMO
Its a great car nonetheless. Congrats!
