Good job! You could probably spray some windex on small sections of double sided tape, slide it in the gap areas, then use a hair drier to try to heat up the plastic a bit and put some pressure on it to try to fix where it is popping off. Worth a try maybe?

Yeah, I was just thinking that when taking these pics right now.
The gaps are so big though. Do you think I should buy thicker 3m tape? Hmmm or maybe double up the regular automotive 3m tape that I used?

Possibly, but if you go too thick then it will still create a gap. That tape is pretty strong if you can keep pressure on it for long enough. Maybe put a rag on an end of a piece of PVC or wood, then cram the other side into the side of the garage or crack in the driveway to keep pressure on it for an extended period of time.

If you go to Menards or Home Depot and don't see 3M, Loctite has double sided tape that is basically the same thing. Good luck!

Cram your car against a wall??? How about you do it the proper way using clamps? It's not like they cost a ton of money...

@Bimmette - If you don't own them, since you're a pretty handy person, you should go and buy some. They're really handy and come in lots of sizes, in terms of how big they open. Just pop into Home Depot to check them out or Canadian Tire.

Hmmm, thanks Lotus. I'll check out how much they are. I did actually look for some at the dollar store before I did the install but no luck so I didn't bother! Hahahahaha!

Haha seems crude but worked well for putting my splitters on because there was no good way to clamp them on because it was not on two parallel surfaces. And I didn't say to cram the car against the wall, I say to put something in between a wall and the car to keep pressure on it.

I wouldn't risk scratching my car against a wall just to save like $20, for something you'll probably use down the road for other projects, since you're a handy girl.

You're obviously not understanding what I am getting at. If the two surfaces are not parallel the clamp is going to slide right off. It's not about saving money. And once again, I didn't say to drive the car up against a wall ha

While your statement is true. I think it'll work on the sides. You can unbolt the wheel liner and pull it back while clamping the aero lip against the bumper.
