hello all, I had replaced my footwell module with a used one, out of different car. So a few things are not working now, I believe I need some coding and vin writing done, anyone can help!? Thanks

do you have an inpa cable?

You need to give us more information:

1. What is the old FRM version?
2. New FRM version?
3. Car manufacture date.
4. What isn't working.

Yes, VIN can be changed with tool32 / winkfp.

Version seems to be the same the module is from e93 m3, the fog lights are not working, and couple other things..

Choose [YOUR-FRM-VERSION].PRG

And select job "fg_schreiben"

Input your FULL vin including checksum at the end. Checksum digit can be seen in NCSexpert when reading or writing coding.

Use WinKFP and a K-D-can cable. You can update firmware and code in your VIN all at once. Should take like 1-2minutes

It looks like a pain in the just to set it up on the computer, I have the cable wish someone could show me in person how to go about it...
