HELP on a perspective car

i know this isnt a 3 series, but I am looking at purchasing an x5 and happened to come along this one. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...5&aff=nationalIt is BMW certified, which i like, and the perfect color combo EXCEPT...the previous owner put some HIDEOUS white stripes on it. Wanted to know if there was any option for taking them off (theyre painted on, not stickers) and if so what would the cost be. Also looking at refinishing the chrome wheels back to their original finish. Would this be a huge undertaking financially? Thanks so much with any help you can give.

Sorry I can't help, but I felt the need to state that hideous is an understatement.

I have an inkling that the previous owner longed for a dodge viper in another life.

Dude, those stripes are very bad. Since they are not vinyl, easy removal is not in the cards. IMO, keep looking.

Haha thank you for the spelling help. Yeah I called my collision center, they said it would be a pain in the ass...
