Arrow (E36 ///M CONTENT) Update!

Original thread when I purchased the car: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=782734

Hey guys I did a quick unedited(yet) photoshoot today scroll down for pics. So... where to begin... After rescuing this car from it's previous owner (who had it for 10 years, 5 of which, it sat in a garage collecting dust.) I changed all of the fluids, spark plugs, brake pads, etc. etc. (regular maintenance blah, blah.)

Then I started on the cosmetic stuff. Changed the hideous ///M roundels to OEM roundels, but went with a black set in the end. The ///M badge was faded and dull so i updated it with a gloss black badge. The OEM tail lights were dull and yellow so I purchased a clear set to replace them. The chrome door handle trim was ripped off and replaced with black, along with the chrome kidneys. Tinted the windows, and did a few other things here and there...

STILL ON THE HUNT FOR ERA APROPPERIATE WHEELS!!! If you have something you think might work, PM me.

Anyway, to the pictures-

Off to a good start. As mentioned in your other thread--that car does not look like it is the OEM yellow. Check the paint code in the door jamb and see what it says.

"Would the owner of the yellow BMW parked on the railway line please collect the remaining pieces of his car from the train driver". Nice car BTW.

Thanks guys!!! Over the last few weeks this car has taken up a lot of my time. Between work and my family, I don't have much of it left. But it's paying off. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it on the streets.

The OEM color is dakar yellow, but the previous owner repainted it. I'm not entirely sure, but I'm thinking it could be the phoenix yellow? I've seen a few e46's in phoenix and this seems pretty close.

Btw, I found a set of those throwing stars (style 21's) you were telling me about the other day. But by the time I got off work and called the guy he had already sold them!!! Too bad... They are hard to find.

phoenix yellow is like baby throwup metallic. Not even close to this. This is more like atacama yellow.
