BMW Performance Brake Kit for 335i

Been trying to find a review on the BMW Performance front brake kit for the 335i but not having much luck.
Anybody fitted them and if so are they much better than stock?

fwiw: I do recall reading they are smaller than what is currently on the car ...not that much of an "upgrade"

The concensus on here from the 'wise' was they are not worth changing.
And the repair parts are very expensive - and indeed smaller diameter rotors.
MAybe more pad area - I dont know?

Without a better reason, then AP or Brembo would be my choice for many reasons.

Officialy there is no BBK for the 335i/d, BMW won't fit it for you.

The BBK is SMALLER than the factory discs on a 335i/d and is only available for models up to 330i/d.

They look nice, but an AP set looks and works a lot better.

I've thought about upgrading my 335d brakes before, and did not read anything favourable other than the appearance of the performance brakes.

The 'best value' upgrade if I remember correctly, is fitting EBC yellow stuff pads, AP brakes front and rear cost somwhere in the region of £4.5K I think, out of my price bracket for sure (unless you can find some used items somewhere)?

Hmmm, interesting reading.

But you can buy an full AP setup for £3,000, and they work rather than being mainly cosmetic like the BMW stuff.

More reading to do though.....

HP mentioned: pricing which was 1300 USD

1,300.00 USD = 815.090 GBP

Also this would be an OEM product adapted to the E9X chassis (obviously tests will need to be done which HP said they would do)

get a set of used 135i calipers and get some new pads and rotors. the part numbers cast into the calipers are exactly the same. one is just painted yellow and the other is painted grey.

What about e90/92 m3 discs? Would they fit on a 335i?
