335i 2008 sedan Montego Blue TONS OF ORANGE PEEL...

I have a 2008 montego Blue 335i sedan and noticed stupid amounts of orange peel the other day. I read up on forums and saw this is common but I have TONS of it ALL over my hood which is a place ppl said it should be non existant, its kind of everywhere. Is it possible to have the dealer replace the car or what are the kind of things ppl have done so far cause of this? I mean shit its an expensive car I barely have 1k miles on it. I have seen frikkin better Lexus and Toyota's that have better shinier smoother paint jobs than bmw. any suggestions and is it possible to get them to replace the car? maybe i can finally get that coupe i originally wanted that they wouldn't negotiate on?

Merc had paint problems with cars being made in SA some years back, one model series that came to Australia all had to be repainted.

If the paint is of poor quality you need to take it back to dealer and find out how they plan to fix it? whether that's a new car or a repaint. You maybe upset and I certainetly would not be happy either but you need to see what your dealer plans to do first before getting any further upset.

More specifically, if it bothers you find a good detailer and have the car wet-sanded, which will level out the paint so that it's consistent and flat. It will look awesome.

Your dealer won't do anything, as there's nothing wrong with your car - it's like every other BMW painted by robots. Most people it doesn't bother.
