New 2009 335I E90 -- couple of questions

Hi -- I have a new 2009 335I sedan (white with chestnut, premium, sport, CA and cold) and I have a couple of questions.

But first I have a thousand miles now (in about a week) and I just love this car. First BMW and first non-GM and non-big3 car or truck I have had in last 30++ years. There are things I would like to be better. However let's not forget that there is also 5 and 7 series have more goodies and drive the big bucks. I originally wanted the 135I but my wife insisted on a 4 door even tho no large adult is going to ride in the back (for very long no way)..

First question is the auxiliary power outlet in cover of the glove compartment lid is not even wired in.. is this an option now? I plan to add an power outlet under the dash to plug in a charger or RD so I don't have to use the one in the cigar tray. Plan to add a tap wire to number 8 fuse which is switched and for the power outlets I believe.

Next question is the valve located on the drivers side exhaust tip which appears to have a vacuum line attached. I think I have seen somewhere in a post about this. Can this be plugged? and/or the valve wired open? (using good olé baling wire) and not throw a code or hurt anything??? Maybe the after market has a switch that lets you turn this on and off like the newer
Z06 Corvette exhaust pass thru.

Last is about the alarm system. If I install this (it looks to be a fairly simple to do) will it self start and work except for the "chirp"? I have comfort access and will this be an issue or will there need to be some programming. I understand the programming for the chirp is needed by the dealer.

Thanks in advance.
