Those wheels suit the car really well, they were my second choice and now I kind of regret not getting them!

As others have said, get it lowered and it will instantly look 20 times better

I dwelt over what to choose for a long time lol. Did consider LMs like yours (suits your car nicely though) but the concave rears on the VMR sold it for me!
Yeah I'll drop her soon

So I attempted to open up some LCI Headlights, took the whole weekend, almost burnt them (just a bit but should be okay once on the car)

It can be done with enough patience, almost gave up at one point!!! Only managed to do one side...

Oven - Almost melted it (did a little) just got it out in time :O
Hair-dryer - CBA to get a heat gun, took a whole day still wasn't enough
Heat Gun - Good for the job, but will melt the housing!!! (If not careful)

It's looking rough ATM, the permaseal does not melt at all, the housing melts instead... it's a nightmare trying to separate the housing and cover!

You need to use a heatgun, like you said you can melt the housing in a oven, especially the socket at the back as that is where the plastic is very thing. If you melt this then obviously you light is ruined as you cant connect it again

Finally finished the with my headlights, pretty proud of myself took the risk. The housing edges do look a bit rough but seems to have sealed fine some pics of my work below.

Should be getting these fitted next week with a few more additions

I will be putting the headlights on a pre-lci car so can anyone help with the coding, do you know what will need changing to stop the rings from flickering not sure which bulb check to disable of what it's called, any help appreciated.

did you finish the LCI front end conversion?

In the process of doing mine just wondering how you got on with the headlight wiring & coding..

Did you get a frm3 coded and manage to get the amber side markers working?

Thanks

Great Job on the headlights!!!

People really have no idea how hard perma seal is to work with.

If you rush you risk damaging the housing beyond repair. You want to keep it in semi good condition so when you put it back together it doesn't look battered.

Took me about 4 hours to get one open. Hardest 4 hours ever!!!!

Then removing the old perma seal was a bitch!!!! That took another couple hours!!!!!

This is why i don't offer the service for them. It's just not worth my time and people won't pay for the job.

But looks like you did a fantastic job!!!!

How much did you find your LCI lights for mate?

No haven't got around to it yet

But I have tested them and they work fine with just a little coding, you need to edit out the bulb checks for the halos and you have a working set of headlights with the standard FRM2.

But to get the amber markers and brows to work you will need to get FRM3 and tap into some wires to get power to them and of course code. I probably won't do this for now.
But I'm pretty sure you can get it working on FRM2 with a few wiring tweaks hopefully. Hope this helps

Thanks mate!

Yeah it's a real nightmare to work with, does not budge at all, almost gave up after spending the afternoon on just one. But the second one was easier but still a bitch on time!
Don't blame you after I've been through it. Got any pics of the one you did?

It is a 2 day job, but defo happy with how it turned out I snapped it up for £450 which was the cheapest I've seen a pair ever.

No pics mate.
The lights were so butchered it wasn't worth while.

If it was my own set of lights it would have been one thing, but i couldn't do it to a customers set.
