I am going to test drive the M3 this weekend, was wondering if anyone here has made the switch already and what's their opinion on the M3.

Are you thinking of the E46 M3 or E90/92 M3?

I think there's less likelihood of someone going from a 135i to an E92 M3, based on the price jump alone.

scottygams traded his 1er for an e92 m3

and i'd say at least 75% of those on 1addicts didnt buy a 1er because of financial restrictions. we bought them becasue they were the BMW that provided the highest fun factor. i couldve bought an m3, or a z4 M for that matter, but i like the 135 more.

exactly i test drove an e46 m3 and an e90 m3 and a z4m and a 335 and a 135, the 135 to me was the best ride i had the cash to get any of the cars i listed. Now with mods i will easily be able to spank an e46 or e90 m3.
